they were playing locally...in downey, so it was the perfect time to see her play!

so we got this dora quad from jane -- it used to be raquel's. today was the first day that the boys were allowed to try it out.

a little scary, but there are two settings (rabbit) faster for dashiell and (turtle) slower for brennan. we're able to walk along with brennan when he's on it, so that's good.

although opening day was cancelled because of the rain (it rained all night)

even though it was nice in the afternoon, they're pictures were going to be indoors.

here's dashiell in his uniform!

the pants are XS, and just right, but the belt is as small/tight as it can possibly be, but still too loose! the socks are folded over because if we pulled them up, they would reach all the way up his thighs!

the size S 3/4 sleeves are full length sleeves and the length of it reaches down to his knees, too.

not sure who started this (probably dashiell) but there are two stools stacked on top of each other. (dashiell tried for 3 too, i think)

what are they trying to reach? there are ds games on the top shelf.

derek was about to put it up waaayyyy on top. i said no to that idea, because i can just see dashiell getting up on the bed, climbing on top of the desk part, and then reaching up to the top for it...and falling in the process.

peter came over to play with matthew in the afternoon, and after a couple of hours, we decided to head over to my school to practice hitting a little bit.

the little ones played...for a few minutes...

the batting cage was actually open, so they hopped in for a few swings

peter tried climbing this tree...but not successfully...

he also did get in the cage for a few hits, too. =)

2-12-2011, pt 1

we came in 2nd place at this year's annual jigsaw puzzle with the city.

the puzzle was a lot easier than it had been the past few years.

total time: 2:08. we missed 1st place by 17 min. the 3rd place team came in 18 min after us.
