 at south ridge/glider point, there was a portapotty there for some reason...
it had never been there previously.  odd.

 going down a new path for us (which allowed us to complete a nice 14.4mi run)
this was the bovinian delight trail
quite tricky to maneuver at times...only one runner/hiker through most of the way

 the trail lasted about 1 mile, and we're approaching four corners!
woo-hoo!
we found the trail we wanted and we made it!

the boys helped daddy put the lights up on the balcony while i finished up with the tree.

derek went to play (unsuccessfully) at caesar's while immer and i took the boys to see frozen.

it was really good!  i even got a bit teary-eyed two times.

but not real tears.  =p

again, wth?! i didn't even take one pic with my sis.  what's wrong with me?!

so here we are, safe and sound.  back at home around 11:30pm...

today would have been my dad's 73rd birthday.

miss you daddy.

so sad that at the end of the day, i realized i completely forgot to take any pictures of the thanksgiving meal.

on our way to AE immer's!

 we stopped in baker, and i finally got to try the gyros at the mad greek.
overpriced, but quite delicious.  don't think i'll go out of my way to eat this again though (for $9.85+tax)

day two at legoland

after breakfast, brenny noticed the new christmas tree in the lobby

(i later found out this was set up just around 7am)

 after our requisite coastersaurus ride, we headed over to lost kingdom (again!) we were actually the very first riders for the day!
then beetle bounce for dashiell and the airplanes for brennan

 dashiell went on for a couple more times, and brenny headed to dune raiders (the slide) while matthew played an expensive game of hit the cans...
he did great on the first hit...then...
oh well!
he won a little pikachu for his brothers.

 only brenny wanted his face painted
(actually he wants it EVERY time) i couldn't convince dashiell to do it, and i offered him and matt personalized leather bracelets and they declined (they weren't all girly looking!)

then the boys got to pick some ducks and won a dragon each

(because again, playgrounds elsewhere just aren't good enough!)

 the boys played all around in different areas today
matt went to go do the lego mindstorms and we also spent time playing in the xbox area -- which we've never been in, surprisingly.
too bad they figured out what's there...oh well. it took them 2 years!  hehe

(sigh.  matt has his eyes half closed...and he only took one shot)

kicking off the thanksgiving week off with two days at legoland!!

 since we are staying at the hotel, we get to go in an hour early!

 we first rode coastersaurus about 5 times in a row (hardly anyone there!)
then kid power tower!

 the boys were trying to race matthew, but he was too strong for them!  he went up twice while dash and bren went up 1.5 times.

 bren decided he was old enough (and tall enough) to ride this one all on his own!!

it's christmas time here in funland!

too bad last year they decided to change snow days to AFTER thanksgiving, which means no playing in the snow for us. =(

maybe we'll come back??

brenny and i decided to sit this one out

 then each boy wanted to drive their own boat

 we ended the day playing in the duplo playtown
why?  because what's legoland without going and playing in the playground!  duh!

 let's go to out room!

 buffet dinner, where each boy ate a lot!
offering orange chicken with rice was definitely a plus =)

 now we're off to go check out the heated pool

 let's go down the disco elevator!

 all tucked in and tuckered out
