Today was Matthew's first game with the Minor B Angels. They played against the White Sox. They won 20-3 (or something like that). It was almost a shutout, until the last inning, where our pitcher, Austyn (who was absolutely awesome) finally got tired and had pitched too many pitches (he pitched the whole game up till that point). He walked the first batter. We switched pitchers to Mitchell, who then walked another and so on.
We were fortunate that the other team's pitchers weren't very good. We ran through our lineup 3 times (once in the first inning)! But it was still fun. Matthew didn't get a good hit today. He walked twice, which was how he got on base in these pictures. The first time he ran in, the second time he was left on base. He struck out the third time at bat.

Can't believe I spent my day at '$C today. Took 8 kids (2 teams) to the National Ocean Science Bowl there.
I refused to bring my camera to take a picture there. So here's the parking receipt from my car. Good thing I didn't have to pay for parking! Right after taking the picture, I crumpled it up and threw it in the trash.

Dashiell fell asleep on Nana while I took Matthew out to his baseball practice (which thankfully got cut short due to rain).

We picked up Grandpa Carlson from the airport this morning and then we headed up to Mitzi's to take some pictures since all the grandparents are together. After that, we came home and went out to eat and then playtime at home.

We went out to Chuck E Cheese today for lunch with Nana. Matthew won the jackpot in skeeball and won 250 tickets! The last time we went he did the same thing, so he must be getting really good at it. While that was happening, Dashiell was having lunch back at our table.
Oh! This was the first time too that when we got there, we were escorted and seated to a specific table (like at a real restaurant)! It was weird...

Last night I attended the kick-off rally for the 2007 Artesia/Cerritos Relay for Life. I won this little prize, a lead crystal box thing. Anyhow. You can see the American Cancer Society etched in on the top of it. Now look really closely. Can you read what's on the little white sticker that was on the back of the lid??
If not, let me help you read backwards:

Ummm...do you see something wrong with this whole thing??

Playing with the remote control...turning the tv on and off repeatedly!

Oh no! I messed up and didn't take a picture yesterday. I don't know how it slipped my mind...I kept thinking I was going to find a good picture 'later'...then it didn't happen...
So here are two for today. Unfortunately it was taken from my camera phone, so it doesn't look as nice.
This is a picture of the wheelchairs that the Pacific Shoreline Marathon is raising funds for. Apparently made with those cheap plastic lawn chairs, bicycle wheels, and a metal frame for $44.40! Click here to see the Free Wheelchair Mission Website.
