so i went to the hospital to get checked up yesterday because i woke up with a very swollen, puffy face. my hands/feet had been puffy all weekend, but i figured it wasn't too bad...
anyhow. my bp was fine and the fluid level was fine, so they let me go after being there for 2 hours.
back to waiting. =)

upon mitzi's suggestion, i am posting this picture of derek wearing a hat i made for her. it was a bit too stretchy, i think, so i'll have to try and make another, tighter one. dashiell was actually my first choice to wear it, but he wouldn't keep it on for more than, oh say 1/2 a second.

so the baby shower was today.
raquel helped me open the presents =)nathan, mitzi, and logan after winning a game (of course, nathan and logan were instrumental in winning)

so mitzi emailed me some pictures of baby wraps and there were also these {cocoons} (yes, they were called that, with the curly brackets). so last night i tried to recreate the cocoon. don't think it's quite right. i crocheted it though, instead of knitted it...she might try it on a newborn this week. who knows?! oh...and they were selling the cocoons for $85! holy cow~
