while out walking the wagon (yes, i wrote that right. he walks the wagon), this flatbed truck comes rolling in. so we hurry home. it stops right in FRONT of our house! it's got the neighbor's car on it. woo-hoo! (no, not for the neighbor, who apparently was in another accident) dashiell got to look at it up close and personal. when the driver turned around in the cul-de-sac to leave, he even slowed and honked and flashed his lights for dashiell. WOW!

dashiell disappeared upstairs while we were all downstairs...this is where i found him. later he got up and said, 'more books!'
