after swimming and a stop by the ups store, we noticed some activity down the street. so while i got lunch ready, dashiell and gramma headed out to see what the hub-bub was about. scoop was busy at work!

we started the morning off reading books upstairs...


then matthew had a dentist appointment. dashiell and brennan tried to stay busy.

then after a nap and lunch, we headed over to evergreen park. dashiell even pushed brennan on the swing!

the best $17 i've spent on dashiell -- a game of mini-golf and an unlimited wristband for the rides. we had to call the guy over to run the train, and i warned him that it's possible he would be happy just riding it for 2 hours straight. almost. i think he took maybe 20+ rides (2 loops per ride). and if you were to buy an individual ticket, it costs $6.25 (what a rip)!

megan came over for a playdate. matthew read books to them in an attempt to get them to nap...after an hour of trying, only dashiell was asleep, so megan went home.

dashiell took a box of crispix out of the pantry and said he wanted that for dinner, and brennan emerged from the pantry holding sauce packets. hmm.
the cheese sticks got really long! (he called them hot dogs. huh?)
