we went, yet again, to pretend city. love this place.
gramma went with us today, and we had lots of fun!
of course.
dashiell got paid for bringing his fish to the market to sell...
brennan took all the little babies out of the crib one by one
then i stuck a sombrero on him...
brennan even got on the stage with a bunch of girls dancing around.
what are they doing?!
we even stayed for storytime!
dashiell got to take part in one of the stories...he was the goat.
then they had to do a little bit of construction before we left.

took the kids to pretend city in irvine.
they LOVED it.
got a membership and we are returning tomorrow.

dashiell has been shirking off naps lately...
he wanted to shred some papers around 3pm...at about 3:30, i thought it was eerily quiet...this is how i found him.
luckily, when we woke him up about 30 min into the nap, he grogily went back to shredding. no crying!
so i took matthew to practice this evening, and derek was in charge of the two l'il uns.
apparently it took the two of them no time at all to make this mess in the pantry.

matthew's team had a game out in the triple-digit heat on saturday. i can't even imagine how much hotter it was out on the artificial turf field, wearing a helmet, and full pads. i was sweating up a storm just sitting in the shade under our canopy in the bleachers.
