she had only great things to say about brennan...
when i asked her about his behavior (a little concerned about him being mean to others, like how he can be mean at home to his brothers) she said that he was ABSOLUTELY not like that at all
very nice, always helpful, very sweet, etc...
we ended up deciding that it's possible he 'uses up all his good' when he's at school! lol
in any case, he's doing GREAT

neighbors across the street had a frozen-themed bday party for their 5yo daughter.
they had a local ice company come and blow in some snow!
brennan didn't actually go because he didn't want everyone to cheer and yell at him as he sledded. =/
i'm not sure why his eyes were half closed. when i asked him why, he just laughed maniacally at me.

went for a solo 10mi run by the beach again
it was gorgeous out there!
(there was some rain on the way driving there, but the entire run was clear)
tested out my new newton pace shoes along with a new skirt (clearance!) that matches the shoes =p
his mouth crashed into the bumper of my car! =(
two teeth are loose and he has two cuts under his lip =(
we went to the ER (after i called the advice nurse, who suggested we do so)
and he got some antibiotics
he'll go see the dentist tomorrow also
the tooth is much lower than it was before...same tooth that he bonked in baseball last spring

earlier in the day brenny was being pesky and i told him to go away...
and i guess i made him feel bad =(
he wrote this note for dashiell...
because apparently he crawled up into the top bunk and cried
poor baby.
so just before he went to sleep i had to go give him some reassurances and that i'll never say that to him again.

So a couple of weeks ago Immer asked me if I'd go shooting with her...it's been on her bucket list.
Greg has told her he'd take her, but she wanted to take a lesson first, so she asked me to go with her. There was a groupon, so she got one for the two of us.
We had 25 rounds each with a 9mm...
Apparently I'm right eye dominant, so the guy suggested I shoot left handed.
Not what I would've guessed, but it worked. My first 9 rounds were on the red target (ok, 1 was on the tip of it) and my last one was off. Oops.
Weird feeling, but it got 'easier' as it went...gun didn't few heavy or anything and somehow I was instinctively taking my finger off the trigger after each shot.
I guess Mer was pulling the trigger too quickly (? He kept telling her to squeeze slowly, but not to me)...hers were a little bit more spread out.
Would I go back?! Maybe...
I guess I can scratch that off my bucket list now too (but maybe I should make a list first?! Hahaha)
