first day of the new summer season with the dirt divas

actually, it's now the dirt divas and dudes, since keira decided to open it up to not just us ladies

we headed out to the sam merrill trailhead, which was just a bit past the eaton canyon entrance in altadena (just through pasadena)

not hard to find at all

these are actually some of the burned down trees leftover from the station fire in 2009, on the idlehour trail

he was on his way to inspiration point.

i heard after the fact from heather that he is a very good spartan racer.  wow.  hardcore.

i didn't get my nap after i got home (because dashiell had a game)
