update

we don't yet have phone/internet at the house, so i am at school using internet here. but i'm blocked from xanga (and i'm too lazy to find the password to bypass it -- plus i have no idea where to look right now) so i'll post here and copy it over later. maybe.
some stuff that's been happening:
-dropped the kitties off to the vet at 8am. they are getting all 4 feet declawed. i know that derek and i considered it when they were little, but found it barbaric. but now, with the new house, new carpet, new furniture. it's necessary. i'm sad for them, but it's gotta be.
-derek was a handyman yesterday! oh, i forgot those pics...oh well. next time. we went to lowe's and bought mirrors for the upstairs bathrooms, and he put them in. yay! ok...so the one in the boys' bathroom is 3/4" too far to the left. but it's level! (we bought him a new level)
-derek also got me a desk and cubby bookcase JUST like matthew's to put in the 'storage room" for my scrapbooking/crafts. so we'll have to make storage space in the garage instead. not enough room in my little craft room. hmm, i think that's what we'll have to call it. he stayed up sooo late last night trying to finish all that off.
-yesterday he got the boys' bunk bed back together and was able to bring in their dresser, so i arranged all their clothes (sort of). have piles of clothes that they will be fititng into soon, and tried to oprganize those as well.
-yesterday i even cleared out some space upstairs in the playroom so that we could use the couches and watch tv up there. yup. cars, for the millionth time this week. looked at all the toys and games. oh my gosh. we have so many games. for so many different age levels. and i can't get rid of any of them, really. brennan may like them!
-oh! on saturday we had a garage sale and got rid of TONS of stuff and netted about $600. don't really know for sure because i raided matthew's scooby mystery van back for change and took a pile of ones from the car. but since satruday morning, we've cleaned out quite a bit more, and i know we could totally have ANOTHER garage sale. probably not get as much because we don't have as much big furniture items to get rid of, but still. even sold the super-duper old couch (that pre-dates ME) for $20. the love seat that went with that was even so bad we had thrown it out when putting things in storage.
-we're still locked out of the downstairs common bath
-i bought drawer handles and doorstops for derek -- not yet installed
-can't find the kitty carriers to save our life

anyhow. gotta go. derek is waiting for me at home, and he's got the little ones.
