Each student got to choose 4 events to participate in. He chose Obstracle Course I, Obstacle Course II (which I missed), Standing Long Jump, and Side-Stepping.
For his class, he placed 2nd in 3 events and 3rd in one! (Can't remember which is which.)
He'll eventually get a ribbon for his efforts. Yay, Matthew!
