we finally remembered to bring the boys to home depot for the free kids' workshop. unfortunately, the guy working out there with us wasn't very personable nor helpful. there also weren't any tables to work on. just drop cloths on the floor, which was quite uncomfortable! =(
but the boys enjoyed their time there and both made a wagon on their own!







later in the afternoon, matthew had his last and final game for this season. they played against a hawaii team (who apparently had expected to go all the way to florida, but obviously didn't). their quarterback was really good. basically had perfect passes except the very last one (final seconds, where they were losing already) but their defense wasn't very good, as we were able to score.
i wasn't able to get a picture of it at all, but in hawaii's first offensive drive of the game, matthew was in for our defense, and was able to finally be the first man in on the tackle! he emerged from the big pile up last. woo-hoo! so he finally got his 'wii game' of his choice -- which was the new super-mario bros (which i like playing, too!)
