this is me, around mile 17. right before a long, boring straight, non-shady 2 mi stretch.

the boys all ran up to me and i gave hugs and kisses around.

it was soooo great seeing everyone! i really needed it at this point.

it was starting to get hot, and i was getting tired.
i didn't get to see them again until mile 24, where they waited at bonner park.

i was supposed to turn right, but i went straight ahead to them instead for more hugs (and water)

later in the afternoon (after a cold bath, and naps for everyone), grandpa was checking to see if the boat would start.

the boys played in the water while he worked at it.
dashiell crossed his fingers, hoping that the boat would start
look at that beautiful montana sky!
