not in my original plans for today...
running 21miles...
but late last night, pascale started to freak out a little about the carlsbad marathon. ideally, she wanted to be able to get in her last long run (20mi, at least) 2 weeks before race day. but she's going out of town for a church retreat, and won't be able to run.
so...i had planned on just running 5mi out with her, and then heading home alone...while she continued on towards the end of the riverbed for the 20mi run...
but like i said, freaking out a little...so i offered to run with her the whole way. why did i do that? i have no idea, really...
she totally made it just fine. 3:50 i think for her...which ended up being a little bit faster plus 1 mile longer than her last run at the beach (20mi)!
she's got this in the bag... =)
they both really wanted to be the super mario bros.
