the rain finally slowed down a little, after about 15 minutes of being pouring HARD

see the footprints on the right side...that are heading towards the side of the trail!?  yeah. that was me slipping and sliding...almost into the bushes!  thank goodness i didn't crash or fall into it.

shoes were caked with mud

 finally!  the rain STOPPED and it started to clear up
we were SOAKED though.

 yay, you can see the pacific ocean

 we finally reached parker mesa overlook.  there's the view of the santa monica beaches down below!

 then we saw a double rainbow

 woo-hoo!
so pretty after the rain

 brenny and i worked on making his turkey
he found a giant B at the store to make sure his would be identified as his.  =)
