earlier in the week, mom and i decided we wanted to stop at mimi's sometime this week to have breakfast.
it happened to rain last night, but it had stopped by morning, so it didn't ruin our walk to mimi's.
here we are on the way home.
it was quite an adventure walking because there were many snails out on the sidewalk due to the rain, and we were walking very carefully the whole way so that we didn't accidentally step on any and kill them.
it was tricky when we got to parts where lots of those horrible berries had fallen, because it was hard to distinguish them from the snails...so we tiptoed through the minefield carefully.
and the green/furutristic chevron down the street is finally OPEN!
it was weird though, because when the pump asked me if i wanted a receipt, but there was nothing indicated which button to push for yes or no! =/
then all of a sudden, it says, "please go inside for your receipt".
when i went in, i asked them, "so every time i come to pay, i have to come inside?!" they said no, that it wasn't working right (humph...and on the very first day it's open!? not so good...) and there was a worker guy outside trying to fix it at the moment.
oh well.
when i got back to the car, mom said maybe they did it on purpose to make sure i went inside the station. =P
