We took a trip out to Costco this morning, and decided to stop off at the Pumpkin Park on the way home.  We picked up pizza and hot dogs at the coscto food court and picnicked before we let the boys play.

 then not too long later...this mother, who had 2 little ones and another mom she was with (who had 2 little ones as well) were over by her car and we hear them trying to coax the little boy to open the car door.
apparently the mom strapped the little girl in (maybe 2 yrs old?) and the little boy, who wasn't strapped in yet, hopped up, and locked the doors!
the other mom wandered over and asked if we happened to have AAA, which i do.  so i called, and we waited...i told them there were 2 kids trapped in the car, so they dispatched someone immediately.

the one in the top picture opened it first.  the little boy, by then, was totally sweaty (it was pretty warm out) and he was bawling.  =)
all good in the end, though!

 we stopped off at cold stone creamery with my 2 free kids' coupons and also ordered dashiell's birthday cake for friday...
he chose a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting (vanilla ice cream though, i think)
