dashiell and i left the house at 3:30am to head to LAX

here we are, almost 6am...on board the plane to missoula

i think he was a little loopy and excited at the same time  ;-)

 2+ hours later, we were NOT in missoula.
apparently, the check engine light went off upon their preparations for landing at missoula...but because protocol says to go to the nearest airport, we had to land in BOISE.
if was the left engine that had to be shut off (for safety) so since we were sitting on the right side, we didn't see much.
after a short while, they told us it was best that we deplaned and waited at the terminal.

 we exited through the rear (butt) of the plane

 look at all the fire trucks surrounding our flight~

 so that'st he boise state bronco, which i affectionately called the "donkey"
i wasn't too pleased to be in boise, so he was a donkey to me...

 dashiell played his DS for a little bit, then we played 13 rounds of uno.  i lost, 10-3.

 they gave us $8 vouchers for lunch, and check it out.
i'm edna, and dashiell is peytyn!

 finally.
after about 5 1/2 hours, we boarded our same plane again.

 dashiell was very happy to be back on board headed to his gramma and grandpa.

 look!  we found her!
look at the contented look on his face.  =D

 and matt is sure ready to head home, too.
