matt's second game...
he played center again...but he had two bad snaps (see last picture) and got pulled from that position =(
i totally get it, he needs to know he messed up, but what i don't quite agree with is that the coach (the one female coach on the team) yelled at him and said things like, "you've got one more chance. just one more! you better show me that you are here to play..." but then she never gave him that chance. i don't get it.
why tell him he has one more shot, and then never let him try to make up for it?
she should've just said that was it.
i felt so bad. =(
and of course, after the game, matt's dad was yelling at him over and over about it, then saying it wasn't his fault (! totally confusing listening to him)
matt is old enough. he felt bad enough without anyone having to tell him so. i tried to whisper into his ear not to listen to his dad go on and on...that i know he feels bad, and that he should just work super-duper hard this upcoming week and try to get his spot back.
tough times.
oh yeah. we lost 20-0...
