district-wide convocation with dr. mary sieu as our new superintendent...

a woman AND a minority (chinese) AND our asst superintendent is also a woman AND a minority (african-american) TOO!  

WOW!

it was wayyyy too hot though in the gym with everyone from the district in our gym.  

1.5 hours of sitting in bleachers was rough.  

 later in the evening, we went for a bike ride with the kiddos again.
this time they played on the swings!
