matthew is all packed and ready to go to idyllwild today, with his school for astrocamp.

he says there are around 50 students from ross and tetzlaff going. i hope he has fun!

it's supposed to be super-cold there, and may even rain/snow while there.  

a big thanks to christina for letting him borrow some of cristian's gear (sleeping bag, jacket, thermal pants and shirt, wool socks, hiking boots, gloves, and beanie!)

when i told matt earlier in the week that i hope he does OK, he said to me, "mom, i was there for science camp before in the 6th grade, remember?  i'll be fine."
