look at dashiell's amazingly well-written homework!  

WOW!

if he really puts his mind to it, he sure can write neat.

on the back page, he even mistakenly wrote "storyies stories"

when i pointed it out to him, he said, "oops!" chuckled, and just erased it and fixed it.

 he was so proud of his work, he wanted me to make sure gramma and grandpa saw it.
so he told me to take a picture and send it off.

 brennan was also working on his homework, too.
of course he wanted some pictures of himself sent as well, so he asked for this one and one of his pet rock.

 dashiell has a pet rock project from school.  i haven't taken a picture of it yet, because it was still drying (from the acyllic sealer i put on it)
maybe tomorrow afternoon, once he has his little speech ready for his oral presentation, i'll post a video!  ;-)
he originally named his rock, "rocky"...but then amended it to be "angry rocky bird"
so you can guess what it might look like!
