today was the first day of finals, and the first final was my prep period.  lucky me!

so i headed out to 85 degree bakery, since pascale told me they are now open.  i wasn't so sure it was when i drove up because there were maybe only 2 cars in front?!  but no, they were open.  2 other customers inside...no line!  yes!

got some baked yummy goodness, and got 2 free promo mugs to boot!

 the egg tart at the bottom came out fresh when i was in there...omg.  i've never had one that good.  and to be super fresh?  even better.
of course i had to top it off with my favorite, raisin milk butter.  ;-)

 when i got home (after getting our taxes done), dashiell had just fallen asleep.  poor thing.

 later, while brennan went off to swim class (dash missed that and chess class today)
he decided to read his goosebumps book.  i couldn't get him to stop!  he read for about 1:40.  he finally stopped after chapter 12 (i think he read 10!).  it was 7:30 by that time, and then he just closed his eyes and fell asleep.

he started to get super hot again around 8:45pm or so, so i gave him some tylenol...then about 1/2 hour later he threw up.  =( but he did go back to sleep, and stayed asleep till after 6am...
