part 2 of our spring break fun continues at legoland, of course!

we drove down and arrived around 9:15, which was just in time to go through the aquarium (always only at the beginning or end)

 they took out the "claws" exhibit with all the crabs and lobsters, and now they have "jellies"!

 we stopped by the new 'lego movie experience' which had the actual sets from the movie.  pretty cool!

 we went to the water park fairly early on, because they were excited to return.
 it was not as much fun in the beginning because the second play area place and the big blue and red slides were closed until around 11:30 (testing water quality??) but because we were there waiting for the other play area and slides to open, and were right there when it did, the boys got to go down the red twin chasers slides a whole bunch of times consecutively without having to wait hardly at all.  brennan went down the blue slide once by himself, too.

after a couple of hours brennan was done (cold, i think) and left with nana to ride some rides and other stuff.  i stayed with dashiell.

 dashiell waited for the lazy river to open up, and he went through twice by himself.  =)

 nana was to meet us back at the water park at 3pm.  when they got back, and i told brenny the lazy river was open, he had to go too.  so he changed back to him swim shorts and got in with dashiell.

 finally, we made our way out and over to the duplo play area, where we stayed until 5pm.  but not before taking some pictures with wyld style! aka lucy

 the park was actually open until 7pm, but i misread the times and thought it was 5pm.  oops!  but we left anyways.  i promised them we'd stay longer the next day.
lines were pretty short the whole time we were there because the area schools had their spring break last week, which worked out wonderfully for us!!

we went to go eat at islands burger.
they had a cool little game on the kids' placemat/menu.
brenny had to keep the napkin on his head until his meal came (but since he had already eaten, we made it until his dessert came)  silly boy!
the heinz ketchup bottles also had a QR code on it, and we were able to play 3 rounds of a family trivial pursuit while waiting, too.  that was cool as well.

i forgot to pack the kids' pajamas!  uh-oh!
good thing they are boys and can just be in their undies.
they ended up wearing their pants for a while, but not before brennan realized that i had pajama bottoms (but why, momma?) so he decided he would wear mine instead.  =p
