 danny-boy (marcroft) and brenny shared a seat while we watched the opening day ceremony.
the speaker in front of us was sooooo loud we had to cover our ears.

 after the ceremony, we had chick fil a for lunch and the kids played on the playground behind this tree while we waited an hour and a half till game time.

this was dashiell's first at bat.
he got a hit on the 4th pitched ball (they each got 5 pitches from the machine)

 this was dashiell's second at bat.
1st pitch: swing and miss
2nd pitch: fouled
3rd pitch: swing and miss
4th pitch: HIT!

apparently he loves his glove?
