checking out the new embroidery i got put on some new jackets.

took 3 in, including the brand new (again) frontier jacket for dashiell [someone at school walked away with his first one...at $35 apiece, i wasn't going to let this one go again easily!]

hopefully, having the name CARLSON displayed prominently on the front of the jacket will help deter people from taking it out and about because they're NOT a carlson!  =/

 i played mexican train with matt -- and the winner of the very, very last hand determined the winner (there was only 14 points difference?!)  if i hadn't messed up my hand, he might not have won.  such luck he has!
