sticking super close to home again...

we checked out friendship park, but it had a dinky little playground like sunshine park did (which is smaller than what we have at loma park) which was just sad.

so we decided to make a stop back at regional, but to go to the two smaller playgrounds that we didn't get to with daddy last weekend.

cerritos regional park, playgrounds #2 and #3 (smaller and even smaller!)

• fun-factor: 2.5 stars (for both)

quite small, but there was this little dinosaur that was fun, and one rocking horse to ride on. the playgroud set was a pirate-ship style...what willow park used to have before they remodeled it.

we walked over to the...??...not sure what it's called...to just go check it out (again)

over at playground #3 (by the sports complex) was what we called 'the neglected playground'.

it had mulch and lots of trash in it. didn't seem like it was well kept. =(

here's brenny all dirty and in need of a drink.
the playground is bigger than #2, but pretty standard stuff. too many places to bonk your head though. everyone except dashiell bonked their heads on various things at least once.

there were 3 of these little ledges that just screamed for the kids to sit on them...which led to some bonking.

here, brennan wanted help getting up onto it (he was just a wee bit short to get up on his own). he asked me to come help get him up, but i said he should try on his own. so he asked dashiell to help him instead, and here's dashiell trying to be a good big brother (for a change! =p) notice the 2" lift. heehee.
