matthew's team beat the mets today, 6-7. we were down by 2 runs entering the final inning, and we were able to tie it up when matthew went up to bat. unfortunately, this time he struck out. =( BUT phero, who bats after matthew got a single to win the game!
next game is saturday, against the winner of the angels/braves game that played after ours.

This afternoon, a little after 3pm, Dashiell just laid down and fell asleep. Guess it was too hot. We also took him swimming earlier to cool down. He was pooped.

'muffins with mom' at landell this morningmatthew's mother's day gift for me that he's been working on all week at school. all week he's been telling me how he's making me something totally cool and that he can't wait to give it to me -- but that i'd have to wait until sunday. but today, when i picked him up from school, he wanted me to open it already! [i didn't.] after baseball practice, he asked if i wanted to open it again. he can't wait! he's JUST like me. i get so excited that i can't wait! =)
