dashiell's artwork is behind him. i was trying to take a picture of him in front of it, but then susie (? i think...) jumped in with him!
...and then joshua (?) wanted to be there as well! =)

i got brenny the thumbguard, to see if we can help him break his habit
it was kind of sad to see on him. he wasn't complaining out loud or anything, but he was wondering why the heck it was on his hands. we first only put one, then realized both really do need to be on, because he started to suck the other thumb that he doesn't normally use.
then he even started to suck on his fingers! but only because he wanted something in his mouth, i think.
he would mumble quietly to me, 'take off, mam-mam'
he slept with it on...i don't think he slept well, though.
i took them off in the morning after he woke up. he woke up holding up both hands, saying, 'take off, mam-mam'BUT the up-side of it all...telling him 'no thumb!' is much more effective now -- plus with the threat of having to put the thumbguard back on helps as well.

good thing this one was a really big shirt.
i swear, i didn't make him start farming!he saw the train i put on my farm and got interested.
of course, he did have to ask me, 'mom, why is there a train on a farm? trains don't go on farms.'

dashiell's first day at his new school!
he was sooo excited to get going in the morning.
(the time stamp on the picture is actually off by 2 hours...we were there a bit after 7am, not 9am)

this is actually afterschool now, when i went to go pick up dashiell, along with nana and brennan. brennan didn't want to come in the room. =/
he was washing his hands because they had just finished an art project.
these were dashiell's hand prints. (it's supposed to make a heart shape)
dashiell shows us his cubby. his picture should be on there by tomorrow. we saw it outside in the lobby...quite the ham. will try to get a shot of it tomorrow.
