i had to take matt to get signed up for football (back to cypress again!)

so we just made it in time for the boys' game at 11am.

dashiell was up 2nd...

 ...and brennan 3rd
but he didn't want to bat today!  =(
he didn't participate, sadly.
and after he had such a great time last week.
to make matters worse, daddy happened to be there and he saw this, and got really mad at me.  =(

 on another note...
matt's team played the heartwell yankees today again.
they were a much better team than they were last time (plus they had a new, BIG player that wasn't there last time!)
we were leading 5-0, then they caught up 5-4...
then 6-4...
then 12-4...
and final 12-6...
matt had two line drives and 1 walk for the game...

waiting for dashiell's 6yr old check up

initially, he didn't want to get out of the car, because he didn't want to get any shots.

then, somehow he rationalized that 

"i KNOW i don't have to get any shots today.  i'm healthy!"

 he spent a great deal of time being a ham, and looking at him rear end in the mirror (there was another one across on the other wall, where he was looking at the reflection)

 brennan was a good little boy, waiting patiently

thanks to gramma, dashiell had his name up on the marquee!
since his actual bday was on spring break, we had to settle for today.  =)

this was dashiell's clip at school (leftover from monday).  YAY!

matthew's team played today against the angels.  we won 3-12.  apparently they have a mercy rule, because matt's hit in the bottom of the 5th allowed run #12 for us, and the ump called the game.
he was left on 1st base wondering, "huh?  i just got here!" =P

i have a BUNCH of pics this time because brennan had a GREAT game (relatively speaking!)

he batted ALL three times (which is 3 more than the last time he played) and his typical is only 1 inning before falling apart.

this time there were two other boys who were acting like how he is sometimes. whew!

 on his way back to the dugout, brenny stopped by where i was sitting, stuck his arm through the fence, and just wanted to touch my hair.  =/  "just one pull" he said.

matt's 13th birthday party (organized by his dad) at howie's game shack at the bp mall.

about 12 kids showed up.  it was the weirdest, least interactive (between kids), quietest party i have ever seen.

they were all wired in to their own xbox.  some played against each other, but not all.
