darned rain spoiled our being able to have the egg hunt outside...

so we had to improvise. i kept the kids holed up in the room with me while daddy and nana hid the eggs.

none in cabinets/drawers/doors, and none in the bedrooms.

ready? set, go!

brenny wasn't sure what was happening...but dashiell and matt were ready!

heading downstairs to see what's hiding there!


inside the special 'sports' eggs, daddy hid some clues, identifying where the golden egg was hidden.

the deal: if they could find the golden egg in under an hour, they all got to receive a special (wii) prize

later in the afternoon jackie was able to finally come by and get her present!

matthew's 12th birthday!

he requested dim sum for lunch today. who can say no to that?!

they ALL ate a ton of food. especially matt and dash.

matthew even took his brothers to go look at the fish before we left. yay big brother!

it wasn't nearly as hot today as yesterday, but it was still warm.

got them to play in the water for a bit again.
but then they got 'cold', so they wanted to lay out in the sun!

those are MY kids, definitely! haha!

today was an excruciatingly HOT day. took out the little kiddy pool for the boys before they took a nap, so that they could play in it when they got up. totally good idea.

matt had a game later that afternoon, so i got to sit out in the heat. whee!
