sticking close to home again...we went back to cypress...

arnold cypress park

• location: 4.5 stars (close, but an 'older' park now, compared to others we've been to. the bathrooms were really clean, but lots of trash leftover from weekend parties)
• fun-factor: 4 stars (the kids really enjoyed it; but lots of wets spots from sprinklers earlier, not a lot of shade although we didn't need it this morning)

two separate areas, the one in the foreground is for the younger set, while the one in the background is for kids a bit older. of course my kids played on both.

see-sawing with another boy at the park. right after this, dashiell got his right foot smooshed...an accident of course. he wasn't using the little footrest like he should have.

after we left the park, we headed to the library for storytime.

they were good for most of it...left before the last song though.

here they are playing on the heritage tree outside the library.

(i was surprised how dashiell just ran across the log so easily...unafraid!)
