i had to hurry out right after school to drive out to the convention center for the expo.  kitten rescue was only handing out the shirts from 1-4pm!  somehow i made it into the car and out of the lot just before 3pm.  but with some traffic, and searching around for their booth, i was able to make it there with 15 minutes to spare!  whew!

 across from them was a big wall (hmm, should've taken a pic of it) that had the names of the runners.  two years ago it was on "wrapped" honda crvs.  pretty awesome!

 and there i am.

 i wish the shirt were actually a pale, soft yellow.  however this picture doesn't do it justice.  it is highlighter yellow.  getting excited!  but not looking forward to losing an hour of sleep tonight, the 4am shuttle from santa monica, and the warm weather that is projected.

 we had another game tonight, playing the so cal sucios.
and WE WON! 11-10
i actually ended up sitting out because i felt a twinge in my ankle after putting on my cleats and was worried about hurting my ankle before tomorrow's race.  i don't want to let kitten rescue down! ;-)
