today started out early -- 8am for the t-ball dodgers' pictures at the park
the boys got their jerseys, and you can see, were eager to show them to me
i had no idea this was going to happen, but...
brennan was really not liking the whole picture taking thing. he didn't want to even get out there.
he didn't take his individual pics and he was NOT in the group photo.
i think all the commotion and all the people were too overwhelming for him.
we ended up waiting for matthew, whom he said he would stay with and take pictures with.
this is as good as we got:
and a buddy picture with all three (well, sort of)

we went home for an hour or so, and then returned for opening day:
then chick-fila lunch with the team:
and then the first game of the season (for us and the league) at 1pm
look at the cool little personalized cubbies to help them find their gear! cool!
brennan was a good little hitter, but would not run. =(
dashiell was channeling his inner pitcher, like his daddy
towards the middle-end, brennan was not having any of it. he was tired, i think. 2 pm and all that commotion all morning, and no nap?! yeah, makes for a grumpy brenny.
look at brennan while dashiell and 2 other boys clamor for the ball! hahahaha
where are brenny's eyes?!
he still likes to hit...just not run.
guess he'll have to learn to hit home runs so he can run slow...
whew! all done!
dashiell is spent!

Matt is sure looking like a young man. Gone is the little kid, I think. It is funny how Brennan has taken to smiling without showing teeth, looking a lot like Dashiell.
