woke up with two tangled boys next to me

 getting 'grandpa' all ready!

 down in long beach to pick up the my bib for sunday and the boys' bibs for tomorrow's kids fun run!

 this year's new beach bum shirt and my bib

 brenny and dash both had tough days at school.  brenny often doesn't work on his stuff when he gets in one of those moods.
he was supposed to write in his journal and draw a picture depicting what they saw when they went outside for a scavenger hunt.  after 25 minutes, all he wrote was
"Brennan
I s"
and there was a rip in the paper after the "s".  my guess is the paper ripped and he couldn't continue.  i put a piece of tape on it for him then we was (sort of) able to continue.
