yay!  

my cousin annette, who lives in baltimore, came through and got me some orioles gear.

dashiell's team is the orioles. =)

 so some people at work decided to join the 'beginner' slow-pitch adult softball league through the city.  i said, 'yes' i'll join.  ummm, why!?  i've never played softball or baseball.  our team name is 'caught looking'
we lost to 'hit squad' 11-7 (after being down 10-1) so not bad!
no thanks to me though; i did manage to hit the ball but never made it to 1st base.  oh well!
it was fun nonetheless.
