this was brennan's bag from yesterday.  too cute!

 so i didn't go to work today.
headed out to palm springs for the annual CMC conference, which i hadn't attended since prior to dashiell's birth, i think.  it's been a while.  derek goes every year, and this year i asked to go and ali, another fellow math teacher, went with me.
we really only went because school paid for our registration and subs, PLUS we were going to crash at derek's hotel room so we weren't paying for anything, really!

ok, except for this giant hotdog we had for lunch...

 and then dinner out later that evening...

 after we got back, we laid out our loot. mine's on the right, ali's is on the left.
nice! all free except for the two "i have, who has?" cards i got for christina, that cost $5 each.
