back to zoomars petting zoo for the morning

 instead of a 'ball pit' to play in, it was a corn pit.
there were A LOT of kernels in there!

 look at this very orange family.
you can't tell in this picture, but the mom's pants were kind of see thru.  =/

 brenny ended up peeing in his pants
he said to me, 'mama.  i have to go potty!'
then i said, 'ok, uh, let's go'
and he went.  right there.  with his legs a little bit apart, peeing on the ground.
good grief.
so we had to leave zoomars after only an hour.  =(
drove around to find a store that sells underwear and pants (none at ross, rite aid, or big lots).  kept on driving and ended at a walmart in laguna niguel.
they had a pumpkin patch and a church offering free face painting.
saved the day!

 later in the afternoon was matthew's playoff game against norwalk.
they weren't very good.  =/
socre 27 pts in the 1st quarter.
we didn't score again after that (we weren't supposed to anymore, either)

 matt and our backup quarterback got some plays in
(vargas was really nervous -- mercado has never had to go out before)
