it was a snowy run today!
i was surprised how much harder it was snowing when i got down to the trail as compared to the house..
i made sure not to wipe at my face or to look at my face until the turnaround point (3.5mi)

derek and i went out to eat at "the pearl"
i had some escargot (i took a pic of it, but where'd it go?)
a plate of various things (bison something, pate, apricot jam?)
yummy! french onion soup.
delicious!
duck for me...
bison for derek...
back at the house, there were three silly grandkids getting a story read to them by gramma
and the bigger grandkid playing with the big boys
